My Personal Fat Loss Journey: Join Me on This Real-Life Challenge!

Today I’m launching a personal challenge I’ve been planning for a while — a dedicated journey toward fat loss. But this isn’t just about the final result; it’s about sharing each step of the process, from daily habits to honest moments, all in the spirit of keeping it real.

Over the next few months, I’ll be documenting my journey on YouTube (Check out my first video about my challenge here) and here on the blog, bringing you a firsthand look at my approach to sustainable fitness. Whether you’re just starting out, need some extra motivation, or want to make fitness part of your everyday life, I hope my journey offers some inspiration, real-life tips, and a reminder that fitness is about progress, not perfection.




Why I’m Doing This

I’ve been in the fitness world for a while now, but I believe there’s always room to grow, learn, and push myself further. This challenge is about getting into the best shape of my life, but in a way that feels sustainable and doable. I want to approach this goal with balance, focusing on a small calorie deficit and manageable routines rather than extreme dieting or restrictive measures.

Most importantly, I hope to demonstrate how real, everyday fitness can fit into a busy life. As a single parent and business owner, I know firsthand that balance is everything, and my goal is to stay true to this principle throughout the journey.



What You Can Expect to See

Here’s a rundown of what I’ll be sharing with you throughout this challenge:

  • My Caloric Approach: I’m aiming for a small calorie deficit each day to create gradual, consistent fat loss while still feeling energized and able to enjoy my food. I’ll share how I’m balancing this with my workouts and day-to-day life to avoid feeling overly restricted.

  • DEXA Scan Updates: I recently did a DEXA scan to get a starting point for my body composition. Six months from now, I’ll do another scan to measure my progress, and I’ll break down the results to show what’s working and what adjustments I might need.

  • Meal and Nutrition Tips: If you’re curious about what a balanced, satisfying meal plan looks like, stay tuned! I’ll be sharing my meals, tips on planning gluten-free, high-protein dishes, and strategies for eating well without feeling deprived. My approach is all about making meals enjoyable and manageable, especially with a busy schedule.

  • Workouts: To keep things fresh and prevent boredom, I’m following a workout plan that’s varied and flexible. From strength training to cardio, I’ll be mixing it up and sharing my weekly routines to give you a full picture of how I’m staying active. If you’re following along, I’ll include variations to match different fitness levels.

  • Progress and Check-Ins: Every couple of weeks, I’ll post updates on how I’m feeling, any challenges I’m facing, and the small victories along the way. Fat loss journeys are never linear, so I’ll keep it real about any setbacks and how I’m working through them.
