Welcome folks! I am excited that you’re here. Whether you are just beginning or looking to refocus, this site is for people like you--- someone seeking to find balance in fitness, nutrition, and life. I’m Z, a single parent on a journey to better health, both mentally and physically, and I’m excited to share it with you.

I started this website and business to help people just like me—everyday folks who are striving to be healthy, fit, and authentic while always pushing for more. My fitness journey began when I joined the military. Before that, I hadn’t worked out much, aside from a single year of high school gym class, which I barely survived! Once I enlisted in the Army, I made it my mission to improve. Running, push-ups, sit-ups—I was determined to keep getting better. Running became a passion, and it gave me an incredible sense of freedom and release. It also saved me during sleepless nights while deployed, helping me burn off excess worry.

A college friend later introduced me to weightlifting. From the moment I picked up the weights, it was love at first lift! I’ve experimented with all kinds of fitness routines, from Beach Body to CrossFit, and I love the variety. I’m always mixing things up to keep from getting bored. While I may repeat some exercises, I switch up the accessory work to keep it interesting.

If this sounds like you—someone who loves fitness but struggles to stick to a single program—you’re not alone! That’s exactly why I want to help you find a routine that works, keeps you motivated, and prevents boredom.

My experience with nutrition has been just as varied. I’ve tried it all—from veganism to keto, and everything in between. I’ve restricted, bulked, and cut out so many food groups because they were deemed “bad.” But after years of experimenting, earning my Nutrition Certification, and diving into countless books on the subject, I’ve found the answer: eating all foods in moderation is best! You can have your cookies and chips. I eat pizza weekly and dessert whenever I can. Of course, I’m gluten-free because my teen has Celiac Disease, and we’ve been managing that for over 12 years now.

I’m all about keeping it real. I don’t believe in strict diets or punishing workouts. My approach is flexible and accessible—whether you’re squeezing in a 15-minute home workout or figuring out how to eat healthy on a budget. I am here for you in whatever journey you choose.

If you’re ready to take that first step, I’m here to guide you. Let’s get stronger, healthier, and more balanced together. Want to dive deeper into your wellness journey?
